"The Power of Women Hoping for Peace" Digital Storytelling Workshop with the participation of eight refugee women from Syria and Iraq, living in Turkey, was facilitated by Hacettepe University Faculty of Communication Digital Storytelling Unit on February 22nd-23rd, 2018 at Hacettepe University in cooperation with UNHCR Turkey. Digital stories produced in the workshop were first screened on the occasion of International Women's Day on March 8th, 2018 at Hacettepe University within the screening and forum event of digital stories entitled "THE POWER OF WOMEN HOPING FOR PEACE: DIGITAL STORIES FROM REFUGEE WOMEN" with the joint effort of Hacettepe University Faculty of Communication Digital Storytelling Workshop Unit, UNHCR Turkey and ASAM-SGDD Mamak Office. About 40 women participated in the event in addition to 8 women who shared their stories in the workshop.
